    May 20, 2009

A sell-out crowd of over 300 people who share the Women’s Fund’s belief in investing in the future of the women and girls in our community attended at our third annual Trailblazer Luncheon at Wolferts Roost Country Club on May 20th.

    February 1, 2009

The Women’s Fund is always looking for groups of women to talk to. Recently Steering Member and Events Committee Chair Alicia Lasch (center) attended Story Sunday at The Glen Sanders Mansion, a storytelling dinner series for adults now in its tenth season, where she introduced the audience to The Women’s Fund.

    October 8, 2008

Nonprofit organizations serving women and girls were invited to an informational program on October 8 to learn about The Women’s Fund of the Capital Region’s 2009 grants process. The session included distribution of the new pre-application form and answering questions regarding our new application process. The brief program also included a case study of a previous successful grant recipient.

Thank you to all the 2008 Trailblazer Luncheon attendees who contributed toward Baskets of Hope, a collection of toiletries and school supplies to benefit survivors of domestic violence through Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Services of Saratoga County. Your generosity was amazing! At right, DVRC Executive Director Maggie Fronk (left) and Women’s Fund Steering and Volunteer Committee member Ellie Alexander stand with all the donations.
