Twenty people joined the Women's Fund of the Capital Region on Tuesday, September 23 from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.

At this informal event, they learned where the Women's Fund is now, where we're going in the future and how they can be involved. They also learned about our volunteer opportunities and the success of our women's scholarship and mentorship programs.

In addition, they heard a special presentation by storyteller Kate Dudding on how Betty Friedan helped expand women's opportunities starting in 1963.

This event was FREE and all were welcomed!
