On Thursday, November 1, 2012, the Women’s Fund of the Capital Region honored three outstanding women at its fifth Trailblazers Awards Luncheon at the Glen Sanders Mansion.

Through their generosity of spirit and resources, these women have blazed trails to make a difference in the lives of women and girls in our community. In her acceptance speech, Cindy Phillippe spoke movingly about volunteering.

Several of the scholarship recipients from The Women's Fund Education Initiative were also honored at the luncheon.

2012 Honorary Committee Co-Chairs were Julie Massry Knox, Director of Sales and Marketing, Tri City Rentals and A.C. Riley, Community and Civic Leader, who were both honored as Trailblazers last year.

Our Mistress of Ceremonies was Dori Marlin, News Anchor, CBS6.

Fresh Start Project
