Our Honorary Committee Chair is Gwen Wright, a Women's Fund 2023 Trailblazer.
The Women’s Fund will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary in 2026. Our theme is 20 Years Strong - Reflecting on Our Journey, Building Our Future. Our honorees will share compelling stories about their own journeys. The conversation will be moderated by Benita Zahn, DPS, MS, CHWC, NBC-HWC.
You will also hear stories from The Women’s Fund scholarship winners during the event as well as updates on our program activities.
A program of the Capital District Women’s Employment & Resource Center (WERC), The Women’s Fund of the Capital Region, in partnership with local educational institutions, supports non-traditional female students in achieving their educational goals as a means to economic well-being. Our vision is a community where all women are empowered through education to fulfill their greatest potential towards self-sufficiency. To date, we have awarded college scholarships to more than 150 women in our community.
