We may not be able to solve all the issues women face in the world, but one-year scholarships through The Women’s Fund of the Capital Region are making a difference for women in our community today.

Here’s what one local woman said of the scholarship she received through The Women's Fund:

"Every day I encounter woman just like me, working hard to better themselves through education. So please, I implore you to keep
investing in the women of tomorrow. There are many women out there who are deserving of this opportunity and would thrive if given the chance that you have given to me. Your scholarship changes lives, it has changed my life and for that I thank you all.”
Since 2010, The Women’s Fund’s scholarship program has met a critical need in our local community for non-traditional female students who have returned to school after their lives took various other paths. Together, we have helped 60 women — including the scholarship winner quoted above — turn their lives around, reach their dreams, and support their families through the gift of education.

Please invest in her future by contributing to our 2018 Annual Appeal today, through our website.

Through the generosity of people like you, we are helping women of the Capital Region successfully achieve their dreams and build better futures for themselves and their families. Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Paula Marshman and Tricia Tauss
