Another way to donate is through a planned gift.
Women in our nation have a strong history of leaving legacies that affect future generations. With a little planning
now, the difference we can all make will be profound. The Women’s Philanthropy Institute suggests the following:
-
Ask yourself: “What two or three things mean the most to me?”
- Then ask: “What values do I want to pass on to
the next generation?”
- And lastly ask: “Who can help me pass those values down?”
Please consider The Women’s Fund of the Capital Region in your estate planning.

For more information on how
to do this, contact Kristen Frederick, President/CEO of the Community Foundation for the Capital Region – the
endowment-building arm of The Women’s Fund – directly at (518) 446-9638.
Thank you for your personal commitment to promoting women's financial independence and creating opportunities for girls in our region.
By working together, we can achieve the impossible: moving mountains to ensure a safer, brighter future for women and girls.
"I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver."
